Social Psychology Journal
In this very first assignment of Social Psychology. it's an interesting experience that we wrote journal with relating to psychological theory. It's a fun experience. Before this, I never really thought of there's so much relationships no matter interpersonal communication or intrapersonal communication. In fact, there's so many interesting facts that happened around the world involving the human nature I never knew.
Assignment 2 - comic strips
In this assignment, we have to draw comic strips with related concepts from the syallabus of Social Psychology.
The protagonist in our comic strips is Mr.Box designed by our group member Cecilia Tie. She's designed him as he's more easy to be draw. The concepts we used in these comic has Maslow hierachy of needs, sociocultural theory, stimuli, misjudgement, liking and else.
This assignment is really challenging as presenting ideas in a page of comic strips is not really an easy jobs, it's need imaginations and also organize the scene in the comic properly.
Assignment 3 : Video
In this assignment, we are to shoot a video/story related to 5 concepts from the social psychology class. I have grouped with Joey, Vennessa Shieh and Nicole Hooi.
Here's a short sypnosis about my group's story :
During in an university orientation, two korean-obsessed girl was looking for korean guys that could possible to be have the same class with them. They (racism) scan through the crowd and finally a korean looking guy (stereotype) caught their eye. They were very excited and they leave to class when the bell rings. Unexpectedly, the korean looking guys are have the same subject with them and they asked the lecturer whether they can group with him. The lecturer say if they get a good grade, they probably can(extrinsic motivation) . So the two girls work very hard, even do research and observe their seniors work(observational learning) . At the day the lecturer giving out the grades, they two got a pretty flying colour results. So they stand up and talk to the korean looking guys, who knows the guy actually cant even speak single korean. At the end of the day, lesson learnt.
