Effective Public Communication
It's not too difficult to know what's this course aims and what we can accomplish in this subject. In the first essay assignment, we are assigned with a chosen topic and further explain with examples and apply theories in it. In such requirement, we know that we are to learn how to apply theories learnt in class to our real life. Basically, effective Public Communication are about learn how to communicate with people, no matter interpersonal, small group, or intercultural communication, we learn how to communicate with people. We learn how to avoid conflicts and how to lead people and lead by people. Other than that, leaderships skill are another important things we learnt in the subject. In term of right attitude, we have to know that communication is one of the important aspect in our daily life, we can take the theories from the textbook as a guidelines to enhance the way we communicate.

Reflection
I guess Effective Public Communication is one of the subject that could benefit our whole life time, especially the interpersonal skills. I learnt how the basic aspect between people and also how to talk to show confident. Other than that, I learnt that how body languages work and how important it is in a communication. Off all things, I would say that the essay and group work really help my understanding and how could I apply the theories in my daily life. For the essay, I was assigned witht the title "explain the strategies in intercultural communication". I would say that I learnt a lot in term of communicating with people from different cultural aspect. Lastly, another important thing i learnt in this subject is, how to research, not only from books or internet, but also how to research through daily life.
In our Effective Public Communication, there's one class test, one individual essay and one group work (comic strips). The first class test was an open book test and we are require to answer a question about one of the movie we have watched. And the movie I have chosen is "The Joy Luck Club". After the test, we are assigned to write an essay with respective topic. The last project are group project and we are required to draw comic strips, the story lines have to related with few of the concepts in the chapter we have chosen. The chapter we have chosen are small group communication. After discussing with my group members, we decided to write our story based on santa claus and the elves. The story briefly talks about elves are going to deliver gifts this year and a little accident cause few elves to leave the teams and work by themself. Here's photo and documents of my work:
