PROJECT 1 : Visualisation, Observation & Rendering Techniques (20%)
PROJECT 2 : Developing Architecture Drawings (Understanding Drawings Conventions) (15%)
This assignment is basically about learn to visualize and observe things from no matter scenario, objects, building or basic lines. So, there's 6 category in this assignment which is : lines, natural contexts, buildings, human activities, prespectives and. Though I didnt do really well in this assignment, at least I knew what my level is and where to improve.
Category A : Lines

Category B : Natural Contexts

Category C : Building's Perspectives

Category D : 5 minutes sketches

Category E : Human & Spacial Activities

This is probably the first assignment that we learn how to technical drawing. In this assignment, we are required to choose 2 objects and draw plan, 2 elevations, 2 sections and a details drawings through obversations and measurements. The objects I have chosen is a Harmonica and the bottle of mouth washer "Listerine". It's not an easy jobs at the first time, I redraw for quite a few times in order to ensure my drawings more precise. Here's photos of my submited drawings :

Project 3a : Site Analysis (Syop Mallz) (20%)
This is another assignment where we really learnt things about architecture. I have grouped with Justine Te, Sofia Meor, Jane Ooi. Rozan and Sean Siow and I think we worked together really well. We assigned with the site syop mallz. Although this site is pretty tough but I think we really learn a lot about the basic structures of a building in term of columns, pillers, and not to mentions the thickness of walls.
Project 3b : Art Installation (40%)
We are required to design and suggest an art installation in our respective site that we analysed in Project 3a. This project took me alot of time to think and develop as it's not a easy job to suggest an installations in a commercial area. So, after changing few od my ideas, I decide to redesign the kiosk in order to create a more spacial walkway. At the same times, I decide to put elements from a traditional shophouses in order to create an idea that people know the importances of a shophouses represent our Malaysian Culture.
Here's my presentation board for interims :

But at this point, I learnt more than just designing an installation, or even a building. After the interims, I decided to add even more elements in my design; but three days before the presentation, I show Mr. Angus my design to see whether it's better or I'm just making it worst. I didnt know that I'm actually making the design look bulky and over design. I was told that I'm direct translating the meaning from a shophouses to my design, and I learnt the term "Direct Translation". Hope that I would never make this mistake again. At the end of the day, I take away all the "over design" elements. Now, I name the new design Perpertual Block Kiosk. It's look different compare to the kiosk in the market as it's look like a door instead of a typical kiosk. The unique feature of this kiosk is you can customize the partitions around the kiosk; which means if you are selling clothes, you can remove the storage block and install another clothing racks. Here's my presentations block and my models :

In a word :
I'm really glad that I learnt how to draw and some basic design in this subjects. I'm being thankful to Mr Angus, Mr Fariz, Ms Sufina and Puan Has. They have assist and teach us since semester 1 and always share knowledge to me. I'l probably never forget them who guide me how to draw and design in this wonderful year.
